The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has announced that its digitaljobsPH project is offering free online technical training to workers and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) affected by the extended quarantine. According to the DICT, all slots for the various tracks are currently filled, while training will run from April 16, 2020, onwards. Through its Region 12 office, the DICT deployed Starlink kits, charging stations, and free internet services under the Government Emergency Communications System (GECS) and Free Public Internet Access Program (FPIAP).
