MediaTek has launched its all-new Dimensity 8200 chipset, catered towards mid-range-to-premium 5G-enabled smartphones. The 8200 features a 3.1 GHz octa-core CPU and is partnered with the Arm Mali-G610 GPU. MediaTek also says that the 8200 will allow for amazing camera performance, enabling smartphones to capture HDR video on 3 cameras at once. In terms of connectivity, the 8200 has MediaTek's dual 5G Sim technology, the latest Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. The Dimensity 8200 is the latest chipset to be released by MediaTek, following the launch of its flagship processor, the Dimensity 9200, earlier in November.
