Universal Music Group has pulled a song from streaming platforms which is rumored to have AI-generated vocals from their artists Drake and The Weeknd. The Weeknd and Drake's vocals on the song "Heart On My Sleeve" were created with artificial intelligence according to the anonymous user who posted it called Ghostwriter977, or Ghostwriter. Whether AI was used to create the entire song or if the two singers contributed some of the vocals is unknown. The song had amassed more than 600,000 spins on Spotify by Monday afternoon, and Ghostwriter977's TikTok videos had gathered more than 15 million views. Another YouTube video had 275,000 views, along with the creator's statement that said, "This is just the beginning." The song was eventually pulled from Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer and TIDAL by Universal Music Group. Logitech extension 'Logitech for Creators' has announced the second annual Song Breaker Awards premiering this Saturday, April 30 at 10am PST wherein the ceremony will be done in the Metaverse through Roblox. GAYLE will be receiving the Song Breaker of the Year Award. Her song has had the biggest impact on the Billboard Song Breaker Chart, appearing on the chart for three consecutive months.
