If completed, the deal would give Paramount control of Warner Bros’ film studios, streaming platforms, and major TV networks, including HBO Max and CNN, in what could have been one of the biggest shakeups in the global entertainment industry. Industry observers say this could lead to management changes and possible job cuts, as large mergers typically result in restructuring. For now, the proposed PHP 6.2-trillion deal is still under review but if regulators give the green light, it would mark one of the largest entertainment mergers in history. The Lyceum of the Philippines University, in partnership with ESports and gaming talent agency Tier One Entertainment, might offer the first Bachelor of Science degree in ESports this year. In his Facebook post, he said, "I also want to take this time to personally ask all the future enrollees to please take every subject seriously and learn whatever you can learn from the experts of the industry. We'll do our best to push this industry forward but we need more help. See you in 4 years!!"
