According to the firm, hashtags on Facebook will work similarly on other social media platforms that have adopted it wherein it’s both clickable and searchable. Moreover, it allows users to compose posts directly from the hashtag feed and click hashtags from other SNS like Instagram. Similar to other services like Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, or Pinterest, hashtags on Facebook allow you to add context to a post or indicate that it is part of a larger discussion.
