Meta has announced the global rollout of new subscription plans for Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, adding paid features across its social media and messaging platforms. The company introduced Facebook Plus and Instagram Plus, both priced at $3.99 per month, while WhatsApp Plus will cost $2.99 monthly. Meta said these new subscriptions are separate from Meta Verified and will continue to exist alongside it. Facebook Plus and Instagram Plus subscribers will get access to new features focused mainly on Stories and profile customization. Meta also said more subscription plans focused on Meta AI users, creators, and businesses will be introduced in the future. Meta has start rolling out a subscription for users to not receive ads on Facebook and Instagram. The subscription for no ads will go for EUR 2.99 per month on the web while on iOS and Android, it is priced at EUR 3.99 per month for the first Meta account.
