Smart Communications has started accepting pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Series, which includes the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Pre-orders come with storage variants of 256GB and 512GB for the Galaxy S26 and S26+, while the S26 Ultra is offered in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB options. The first 26 customers who pre-order via the Smart Online Store will also receive a free Samsung Galaxy Tab A9. Smart said its network, which it noted was recognized by Ookla for Best Mobile Latency based on Speedtest Intelligence data for Q1–Q2 2025, is optimized to support AI-powered features of the Galaxy S26 Series. It's already confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be launched in the Philippines before end of October (that's next week!) and we finally got the retail price down to the dot -- Php34,990 (thanks to our source). The price isn't surprising (though I thought it would be a bit higher by a couple grand) considering its baby brother, the Galaxy S, sells for Php32,000.
