Smart Communications has started accepting pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Series, which includes the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Pre-orders come with storage variants of 256GB and 512GB for the Galaxy S26 and S26+, while the S26 Ultra is offered in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB options. Customers who pre-order under this plan will receive a free storage upgrade ; 512GB for the price of 256GB, and 1TB for the price of 512GB on the Ultra. Smart said its network, which it noted was recognized by Ookla for Best Mobile Latency based on Speedtest Intelligence data for Q1–Q2 2025, is optimized to support AI-powered features of the Galaxy S26 Series. Samsung has introduced a special edition of the Galaxy S26 Ultra in the Philippines, offering added accessories bundled with the device for buyers who purchase through its official store. It's already confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be launched in the Philippines before end of October (that's next week!) and we finally got the retail price down to the dot -- Php34,990 (thanks to our source). The price isn't surprising (though I thought it would be a bit higher by a couple grand) considering its baby brother, the Galaxy S, sells for Php32,000.
