Samsung and Barnes and Noble have teamed up to create the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook, a combination of Samsung's Android tablet and Barnes & Noble's eReader. The result is a 7-inch Android 4.4 Kitkat tablet with the same hardware specs as the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 running a customized version of Nook software. The Galaxy Tab 4 Nook uses a 1.2GHz Marvell quad-core processor with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB internal storage (up to 32GB via microSD). The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook is available in all Barnes and Noble retail stores and online for $179 after rebates.
