In a recent blog post, Gemini for Google TV has been announced. While not entirely replacing Google Assistant, it helps the existing feature go beyond simple commands. We’ll update readers should we receive more news on additional features to come for Gemini for Google TV. Google has renamed NotebookLM to Gemini Notebook, expanding its reach across the Gemini app and Google Search. Google is also bringing notebooks directly into the Gemini app, with full cross-app syncing between the two platforms. While Gemini Notebook remains a standalone research tool, Google is rolling out an update that gives every notebook a secure cloud computer, allowing it to write and execute code natively for more accurate data analysis. Google says active users of the Gemini app in Southeast Asia more than doubled over the past year. Google has unveiled the new Google Home Speaker, its first smart speaker built specifically for Gemini, the company's AI-powered voice assistant.
