Google’s NotebookLM rebrands to Gemini Notebook

Google has renamed NotebookLM to Gemini Notebook, expanding its reach across the Gemini app and Google Search.

Google is also bringing notebooks directly into the Gemini app, with full cross-app syncing between the two platforms. The company plans to integrate notebooks into AI Mode in Search as well.

While Gemini Notebook remains a standalone research tool, Google is rolling out an update that gives every notebook a secure cloud computer, allowing it to write and execute code natively for more accurate data analysis.

This update is currently available for Google AI Ultra users and Workspace business customers with AI Ultra and AI Expanded Access, and Google will extend it to all Pro users on the web in the coming weeks.
