Gionee has made its newest flagship handset official at an event in China a few hours ago, bearing three different variants with unique configurations at drastically different price points. It would be wise to stick with the S95 for now but if you can dispose it for a good price, then the S100 is the logical upgrade. When the Canon S95 was launched here, the suggested retail price was about Php27,000 so I'm hoping the Canon S100 won't cost that much. The Eee PC S101 was announced in October 2008 and took 4 months to get to the Philippines, primarily because of the price tag of Php34,800+.
