Globe launches Globe Starlink 99 and 299 plans, now available through the GlobeOne app. Users can access and purchase the plans directly inside the GlobeOne app. Previously: Globe Starlink 99, Globe Starlink 299 to be offered via GlobeOne app Globe has officially launched Starlink's satellite-to-mobile service in the Philippines after receiving approval from the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), making it the first local telecom operator to commercially offer direct-to-device satellite connectivity in the country. According to Globe, the service works by allowing compatible LTE smartphones with an active Globe SIM to connect directly to Starlink satellites once they are outside Globe's terrestrial network coverage and have a clear view of the sky. Globe Prepaid and TM subscribers can access the service through a Globe Starlink promo starting at PHP 99, while Globe Platinum and Postpaid users with Plan 1499 and above can use it at no extra cost. Starlink has announced yet another price increase for their most subscribed plans, with the Residential Plan jumping from Php3,800/month to Php4,099 while the Unlimited Roaming Plan is now at Php5,999 from Php4,017. Since February 2026, Globe's announcement of their partnership with Starlink has been heavily anticipated by many Filipino consumers especially those in areas where there is very weak or no cellular signal.
