Google has launched its desktop app for Windows, bringing its AI-powered search experience beyond the browser and directly into the operating system. The app integrates Google’s AI Mode into Windows, allowing users to search the web, files, and apps using natural language without opening a browser. Google’s new desktop experience is powered by its Gemini AI system, which is designed to provide more contextual and conversational responses. Google has introduced ‘Gemini’ as its largest and most capable AI model.
