Gregory McCray was hired in February as the CEO for Access, the Alphabet unit that houses Google Fiber, in replacement of Craig Barratt who has stepped down last October 2016. Google Fiber started offering gigabit internet packages on some cities in US a few years ago and announced in 2014 that it will expand its services to more than 20 cities.
