Last January, Google released a preview of Gemini 2.0 Advanced for paying users, along with the '2.0 Flash Experimental' model. Building on the previous Flash 1.5 and Pro 1.5 versions, Gemini’s 2.0 Flash model is faster, with benchmarks showing performance improvements with double the speed. Google touts the new Gemini 2.0 Flash as the ideal model for everyday tasks. For paying Gemini Advanced users, the 2.0 Flash model will offer continued access to a 1M token context window, 1,500 pages of file uploads, and priority access to features like Deep Research and Gems. While Gemini 2.0 Flash is now the default for new conversations, Google confirmed that it will maintain Flash 1.5 and 1.5 Pro for existing conversations for the next few weeks. Google has announced Gemini Omni, with the first model being Gemini Omni Flash. The first model in the lineup is Gemini Omni Flash. Gemini Omni Flash allows users to create videos from prompts or reference materials and refine them through natural language conversations.
