Google is starting to roll out the "Past Chats" feature to free users of the Gemini app worldwide. Google's Past Chats feature will soon be available to free uses of Gemini. Google is expanding the creative tools in the Gemini app with the rollout of Lyria 3. Last January, Google released a preview of Gemini 2.0 Advanced for paying users, along with the '2.0 Flash Experimental' model. Google touts the new Gemini 2.0 Flash as the ideal model for everyday tasks. For paying Gemini Advanced users, the 2.0 Flash model will offer continued access to a 1M token context window, 1,500 pages of file uploads, and priority access to features like Deep Research and Gems. While Gemini 2.0 Flash is now the default for new conversations, Google confirmed that it will maintain Flash 1.5 and 1.5 Pro for existing conversations for the next few weeks. Google has unveiled the new Google Home Speaker, its first smart speaker built specifically for Gemini, the company's AI-powered voice assistant.
