#Google Gemini on Wearables

Google is set to enhance its ecosystem by integrating its advanced AI assistant, Gemini, into Android Auto and Wear OS smartwatches later this year. Gemini’s Integration Across Devices During Alphabet’s Q1 2025 earnings call, CEO Sundar Pichai announced the company’s plans to upgrade Google Assistant to Gemini on multiple platforms, including mobile devices, tablets, cars, headphones, and smartwatches. Google has renamed NotebookLM to Gemini Notebook, expanding its reach across the Gemini app and Google Search. Google is also bringing notebooks directly into the Gemini app, with full cross-app syncing between the two platforms. While Gemini Notebook remains a standalone research tool, Google is rolling out an update that gives every notebook a secure cloud computer, allowing it to write and execute code natively for more accurate data analysis. Google says active users of the Gemini app in Southeast Asia more than doubled over the past year. Google has unveiled the new Google Home Speaker, its first smart speaker built specifically for Gemini, the company's AI-powered voice assistant.
