Now, that model has exited the experimental phase and has been officially rolled out to all users on the web and on the Gemini mobile app. While Gemini 2.0 Flash is now the default for new conversations, Google confirmed that it will maintain Flash 1.5 and 1.5 Pro for existing conversations for the next few weeks. Google has renamed NotebookLM to Gemini Notebook, expanding its reach across the Gemini app and Google Search. While Gemini Notebook remains a standalone research tool, Google is rolling out an update that gives every notebook a secure cloud computer, allowing it to write and execute code natively for more accurate data analysis. This update is currently available for Google AI Ultra users and Workspace business customers with AI Ultra and AI Expanded Access, and Google will extend it to all Pro users on the web in the coming weeks. According to Google, Gemini Omni can understand real-world concepts such as physics, historical context and scientific principles. These can be verified through the Gemini app, Gemini in Chrome and Google Search. Gemini Omni Flash is rolling out today to Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers worldwide through the Gemini app and Google Flow.
