Google just recently had its Pixel event where it officially announced its newest Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones. Both phones will be powered by the Google Tensor G3 processor with it now coming with 7 years worth of software updates including OS upgrades, security updates, and feature drops. The Google Pixel 8 features a 6.2-inch Actua display that gives up to 2000 nits peak brightness and has an adaptive refresh rate of 60-120Hz. The Google Pixel 8 Pro on the other hand sees a 6.7-inch Super Actua display that can max out at 2400 nits of peak brightness and can adjust its refresh rate all the way up to 120Hz and all the way down to 1Hz. The Google Pixel 8 Pro also sees a new temperature sensor to scan objects and get its temperature reading.
