#Google Skills feature

Google has added a new AI feature called “Skills” to its Chrome browser to help users save and reuse their favorite AI tasks. The feature started rolling out on Tuesday for desktop users who are signed into their Google account and using English (US) as their browser language. Skills works with Google’s Gemini AI, which is already built into Chrome. Google said early users tried Skills for tasks like checking nutrition in recipes, comparing products when shopping, and summarizing long articles. To help users start, Google also added a Skills library. Google has launched its AI-powered Try On feature, allowing users to upload a photo and virtually see how clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories may look on them. The feature is available through Google Search, Google Shopping, and Google Images.   The launch is part of Google's broader AI rollout following several announcements made during Google I/O 2026, including new Gemini features and AI-powered search tools.
