Google has announced Android Halo.

Android Halo is a new feature that shows what your AI agent is doing directly from the top of your phone screen.

Android Halo provides real-time status updates while an agent is working on a task, running in live mode or sending a message. This allows users to track progress without leaving the app they are currently using.

The feature will work with Google Gemini Spark and other supported AI agents.

Google says Android Halo is designed to make AI interactions more seamless by keeping users informed without interrupting what they are doing.

Android Halo will roll out later this year. Additional features will be available on select devices with Gemini Intelligence. More details will be announced in the coming months.
