Two classic Japanese Role Playing Games, Grandia and Grandia II, will make a comeback as an HD Remastered version for the Nintendo Switch console. The publisher of the game, GungHo, announced that the Grandia I and II HD Remaster will come to the Nintendo Switch console. In addition, Grandia HD Remaster will be released on Steam as well. players can play the demo of the Grandia II HD Remaster at PAX West 2018 this coming August 31. Grandia was first released in 1997 for the Sega Saturn console and made its way globally in the PlayStation console in 2000, at the time when Final Fantasy was the talk of the town. Users can use the funds to buy content on any of these consoles and systems until 27 March 2023 if they have linked their Nintendo Network ID funds (used on the Nintendo eShop for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS) with the funds attached to their Nintendo Account (used on the Nintendo Switch eShop). During its livestream event, Nintendo finally unveiled the pricing and exact availability date of the Nintendo Switch -- March 3rd for $299.99 or roughly Php15k before additional fees.
