MediaTek has announced two additions to its Helio G series, the Helio G96 and Helio G88 SoCs, which provide an upgrade for smartphone displays and photography capabilities. On the other hand, the Helio G88 will support 90Hz displays. In addition, the Helio G88 will support up to 64MP main cameras, a hardware depth engine for dual-camera-camera bokeh captures, a Camera Control Unit (CCU), and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and Rolling Shutter Compensation (RSC) technologies.
