MediaTek announced the latest addition to its G Series, the Helio G91 chipset, designed for entry-level 4G smartphones. The Helio G91 has most if not the same hardware as its G88 and G85 predecessors, but offering an upgraded ISP (image signal processor). The new Helio G91 chipset supports sensors up to 108MP, giving it a competitive advantage in the market. As a recent release, the G91 should also receive more support as the years go by compared to its predecessors. Under the hood, the TechLife Pad Plus 12" is powered by a MediaTek Helio G91 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, built on a 12nm process. It’s powered by a 12nm MediaTek Helio G91 chipset, with configurations up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
