(HCPI) has announced that the 2018 batch of the New Civic Type R has finally arrived in the country. The New Civic Type R features a 2.0L VTEC Turbo Engine packing a maximum power output of 310 PS and peak torque of 400 Nm, 6-speed manual transmission, bespoke chassis set-up and advanced aerodynamics and technology features. It is priced at Php2,980,000 and will be available in 38 Honda Car Dealerships nationwide starting September 01, 2018. (HCPI) has introduced the New Honda Civic Type R, refreshed with a new sporty exterior design and mechanical updates. The New Civic Type R maintains its 2.0-liter VTEC TURBO engine that produces a maximum power output of 310 PS at 6,500rpm and peak torque of 400 Nm from 2,500rpm to 4,500rpm. The New Civic Type R has improved suspension and brake systems for more responsive and sharper handling. Besides, the Civic Type R’s Adaptive Damper System’s control software has been upgraded to allow faster road condition evaluation, resulting in improved damper reactions for better handling response and ride quality.
