#huawei collaborates with changan

Huawei has made a significant entry into the automotive sector by establishing a new company in collaboration with Chinese automaker Changan Auto. The newly formed company, as of now unnamed, stands as a joint venture with ownership divided between Huawei and Changan. Changan Auto secures a 40% stake in the venture, with Huawei and prospective shareholders collectively holding the remaining shares. To add to the anticipation, Huawei is set to unveil a new LUXEED S7 sedan on November 28, a product of joint development with automaker Chery. The one above is the Huawei WiFi E589 which supports LTE, 3G and 2G connections with speeds up to 50Mbps. The Huawei E365 is an HSPA+ modem, perfect for use with Globe's HSPA+ network (Tonino Lamborgihini 10Mbps) and supports up to 21Mbps downlink speed. With a 7-inch form factor, the Huawei MediaPad sits in the middle of a very saturated tablet market. Huawei promises up to 6 hours of normal use on a single charge and with my tests, I was able to stretch it out to around 7.5 hours.
