Infinix has officially launched the Note Edge, a slim smartphone powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7100 and measuring just 7.2mm thick. The Infinix Note Edge weighs 185 grams and comes with up to 8GB of RAM, placing it in the midrange category. Infinix says the screen can reach up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The device runs XOS 16 based on Android 16, making it the first Infinix phone to ship with this Android version. Infinix says the battery can keep at least 80% of its capacity after around 2,000 charging cycles, or about six years of use. It also includes a custom side button that can be set to launch Infinix’s Folax AI assistant. The Infinix Note Edge starts at $200 in global markets. Infinix Mobility, a smartphone brand based in Hong Kong entered the Philippine market last month with the Infinix Hot Note - a 5.5-inch device with a MediaTek octa-core CPU, Android Lollipop, and a 4,000mAh battery.
