The ING (Internationale Nederlanden Groep) Bank, which has been in the Philippines since the 1990s, has launched the first fully digital retail bank in the country. The first all-digital savings bank in the country features high-interest rate with no minimum balance and fees. It also comes with other features such as: 24/7 customer service - no banking hours needed. Many leaders realize that digital marketing delivers higher ROI compared to traditional advertising since every dollar spent can be tracked directly to a sale. Digital setups fix this issue by providing exact numbers for every view. A post by an international university blog shared that digital specialists analyze data to fine-tune active marketing campaigns. The central bank also emphasized that digital payment fees are expected to be lower than charges for manual or over-the-counter transactions because electronic channels are generally more efficient and cost-effective to operate. The BSP may also require banks and payment providers to submit additional documents if their pricing schemes are found to be unreasonable during regulatory reviews.
