Meta has introduced 4 new features on Instagram starting in India (via The Indian Express) but is expected to introduce these features globally to all users in the near future. The new features previewed include Birthdays, Multiple Lists in Stories, Audio Notes, and Selfie Video Notes. Birthdays Instagram will soon let friends and followers know when it's their birthday by showing a Birthday Effect on their birthday. Audio Notes & Selfie Video Notes Notes were recently introduced in the DM section of Instagram to showcase different feelings, moods, or any note someone would want to share with their followers. Multiple Lists in Stories Currently, Instagram only allows two different lists when posting on stories, that is all your followers or your close friends. Soon, Instagram may be rolling out the ability to create more lists beyond just a Close Friends lists. Instagram has rolled out an update for its app on iOS and Android which brings five new filters and new features. The new filters and features mentioned above is now available on Instagram for iOS version 6.4.0, and Instagram for Android version 6.12.0.
