Intel Philippines today officially introduced their fastest CPU so far - a six-core (yup, 6!) processor with 12 threads running at a speed of 3.33GHz: that's the Core i7-980X (codename: Gulftown). The Core i7 980X replaced the previous i7 975 as the fastest in the Extreme Edition.
