Intel has announced at the 2016 Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco Project Alloy - an all-in-one VR platform with RealSense technology for Merged Reality. Unlike the HTC Vive or the Oculus Rift, Project Alloy works untethered, meaning it doesn't use cords to connect to a computer.
