Apple has silently launched their iPhone 8 Logic Board Replacement Program to serve customers that are affected by the said manufacturing defect. According to Apple, they have determined that a very small percentage of iPhone 8 devices contain logic boards with a manufacturing defect. To see if your iPhone 8 unit is affected, visit Apple's webpage here to check if your serial number is eligible. Do note that the program does not affect iPhone 8 Plus models or other iPhone models.
