Huawei could be looking to launch its HUAWEI nova 12 Series powered by Kirin 8 series chipset. According to tipster via Weibo, the new chipset, dubbed as “Kirin 830”, will launch alongside the nova 12 Series by the end of the year. The latest leak aligns with earlier rumor that the vanilla model, the HUAWEI nova 12, will feature HiSilicon Kirin 830 chipset. On the other hand, the Pro variant will come equipped with the Kirin 9000S chipset—the same chip used on the recently announced HUAWEI Mate 60 Series in China. Kirin 830 reportedly performs on par with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778G or Snapdragon 870. It runs on the Kirin 9030S processor with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
