Epson Philippines is introducing their M-Series of printers as a more economical alternative to laser printers. For Php565 per bottle, the M-Series printer has an ultra-high yield of 6,000 pages, has a print speed of up to 34ppm (15ipm), similar to laser print-outs (the pigment-based ink of the Epson M-Series produces water-resistant and fade-resistant prints), and is energy efficient (lower energy consumption than conventional laser printers). "The M-Series is Epson’s superior alternative to the laser printer. This is a better option for businesses that utilize laser printers for monochrome prints. However, this is not to say that Epson is abandoning its L-Series laser printers. In the meantime, Epson still has laser printers in their product lines," clarified Cabrera. Huawei is bolstering its ecosystem with new devices, and one of its latest additions is its first laser multi-function printer that can print, scan, and copy, the Huawei PixLab X1.
