German optics company Leica has released a new camera in the compact category. Called the Leica Q, it sports beefy specs like a full-frame sensor, a big opening, and a blazing fast shutter speed. In a grand celebration held at the Greenbelt Mall in Makati City, Leica Camera Asia Pacific opens the first-ever Leica Store in the Philippines with the help of Lucerne Group who has been named as official distributor and reseller of Leica cameras in the country. It’s for this very reason, however, that Leica Camera Asia Pacific chose to team up with the home-grown company. If you’re interested, you can check out the country’s first Leica Store at the Lower Ground Floor, Greenbelt 5, Makati City. Just today, Leica announces a new addition to the TL series of mirrorless point-and-shoot cameras, the Leica TL2. Its LCD screen measures 3.7-inch which Leica noted to be of high quality. Leica TL2 is priced at $1,950 (body-only) in black and silver color options and will now be available today at Leica boutiques and authorized retailers.
