Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 11" specs: 11.6″ display @ 1366×768 pixels Intel Core i5 380UM @ 1.33GHz 2GB DDR3 RAM 320GB SATA HDD 7200rpm Intel HD Graphics WiFi 802.11n Bluetooth 2.1 Gigabit LAN 3 x USB 2.0 ports HDMI port 4/6/9-cell Li-Ion battery Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Optional features include 3G or WiMax connectivity. The ThinkPad Edge 11 will be available in Lenovo-affiliated stores by the 3rd week of December with a starting price of Php35,000. Lenovo is entering the “netbook†market with the IdeaPad S9 and S10. Weighing just above 09.kg, the one-inch thick Lenovo Ideapad will use the Intel Atom processor. Lenovo also boasts of its OneKey Recovery on Microsoft Windows-based netbooks which allows data recovery at the touch of a button in case of a system error or virus occur. The Lenovo Ideapad will be out this September for a suggested retail price of Php22,990 (with either Windows XP or Linux OS). In a media launch this afternoon, Intel claims to deliver the fastest desktop processor on the planet ever with the introduction of the Core i7 CPU.
