Even though there are a number of local phone brands in the Philippines, there's no actual factory in the country that produces smartphones, until today. This makes Starmobile the first Filipino brand to assemble phone locally. And positively, we'll soon have the capability to produce essential parts of a mobile phone to fully manufacture a device locally. Listed below are 18 companies and their corresponding brand value. This is based on Interbrand's 2014 ranking and only includes brands from the Technology and Electronics sector. According to Qualcomm, upcoming devices powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 will come from brands including HONOR and REDMI.
