Light Rail Manila Corporation has recently shared its trip schedule for the LRT-1 on the upcoming holidays. On December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), LRT-1 will implement shortened service hours. On Christmas Eve, LRT-1’s operating schedule will be from 4:30 AM to 8:00 PM both bounds. Meanwhile, the operation for both bounds on New Year's Eve will be from 4:30 AM to 7:00 PM, LRT-1 will continue to serve passengers on December 25 (Christmas Day), December 30 (Rizal Day), and January 1 (New Year’s Day) following the regular weekend schedule. The first train is scheduled from 4:30 AM on both bountds. However, the last trip in the Baclaran station is scheduled at 9:30 PM while it is 9:45 PM for the Balintawak station. Roosevelt station will remain temporarily closed until further notice to accommodate the ongoing construction of the Unified Grand Central Station (UGCS), which will connect the systems of LRT-1, MRT-3, and MRT-7. The last stop of LRT-1 will remain to be Balintawak station, northbound.
