A new app called TrainSight aims to make commuting in Metro Manila more convenient by allowing users to track MRT and LRT trains in real time. The app currently supports LRT-1, LRT-2, and MRT-3, while backend support for the upcoming MRT-7 is already in development. As part of its commitment to making Filipinos happy, TNT is providing limited 'Free Rides and Snacks' to Light Rail Transit (LRT)-1 passengers on Sept. Simultaneously, TNT will provide free one-way ticket rides at LRT-1 stations in EDSA, Carriedo, Gil Puyat, Baclaran and Doroteo Jose from 8:00 am onwards. [caption id="attachment_290854" align="aligncenter" width="1000"] Photo credits: LRMC[/caption] According to LRMC, a total of 30 train sets or 120 LRVs from Spain and Mexico are scheduled for delivery until June 2022, which will be used for the existing system and Cavite Extension project of the Light Rail Transit Line (LRT-1). Since assuming the operations and management of LRT-1, we have increased the number of trains available to our customers by almost 50% and shortened waiting times.
