In addition, they also have destination signs to inform passengers whether the trains are heading north or south. Since assuming the operations and management of LRT-1, we have increased the number of trains available to our customers by almost 50% and shortened waiting times. The Department of Transportation (DOTR) has recently announced the arrival of the first batch of trains allocated for the LRT-1 Cavite Extension. The first batch of trains for the extension project comprises 120 4th generation trains from Spain and Mexico.
