Maya Black purchases made instantly more affordable with Mini Payments When the Maya Black credit card was first introduced last year, it allowed anyone with a verified Maya account to get a Visa credit card from Maya. On the other hand, I’ve seen some colleagues getting their very own Maya Black Express without going through the Security Deposit process and even getting higher credit limit than I have. Here’s another new feature I am sure Maya Black users will definitely love — Mini Payments. The Mini-Payments allow the credit card user to convert straight posted transactions into 3, 6, 9, or 12 monthly payments. I tried out the new feature last May by converting Php51,836.84 of our Maya Black purchase into a 6-month Maya Mini-Payment plan. Each month, I see my monthly Mini Payments posted in my credit card statement. The outstanding credit balance is then transferred into the Mini-Payments section of Maya then divided into equal monthly payments (either 3, 6, 9 or 12 months) including the applied interest. Note though that the entire amount transferred to mini-payments will be deducted from your regular monthly credit limit.
