Google's new feature lets users transfer personal preferences, past conversations and key details into Gemini. Google is also renaming its 'past chats' feature to 'memory'. The feature is rolling out gradually through the app’s settings page. OpenAI is rolling out an update to ChatGPT with improved memory. This new memory system builds on the existing feature that let users “save” certain chats. CEO Sam Altman described it as a step toward AI systems that “get to know you over your life.” If that sounds a little too personal, a user can disable memory completely in settings. ChatGPT’s memory feature is now rolling out for Plus and Pro users. Designed for runners and fitness enthusiasts, the Forerunner 70 and Forerunner 170 feature AMOLED displays, built-in GPS, wrist-based heart rate monitoring, and support for multiple sports profiles.
