Spotify has expanded its Premium offerings by introducing music video playback directly in-app. Only select catalogs get music videos for the time being, which include hits from global artists like Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat, and Ice Spice. Aside from Spotify apps on Android and iOS, music videos will also be available on the Spotify website and TV app. Head over to the Spotify app or its website version, then toggle "Switch to Video" for supported tracks. The music video will then start playing from the beginning in the Now Playing screen. Simply press "Switch to Audio" to return to music background listening. This is largely similar to YouTube Music — but it offers the advantage of the music starting in-sync at the current timestamp the moment you toggle the Video option.
