Google’s AI-powered music generator MusicFX now features DJ mode. MusicFX was launched in 2023, allowing users to make music just by providing text prompts. Now, the new DJ Mode feature transforms the tool into a digital mixing booth. DJ mode enhances MusicFX in a number of ways. Just type in your prompts for each layer, and MusicFX will generate music that complements each other. Presently, the current version of DJ Mode doesn’t let users export their created tracks. Google notes that “all of the content produced from VideoFX, ImageFX, and MusicFX is digitally watermarked with SynthID”. The company says it has bass frequencies of up to 5dB stronger than the previous model.
