We just can't ignore the news that Microsoft has changed their corporate logo. The announcement was made yesterday and the new logo represents a fresh new image for the Redmond company. The photo below shows the new logo (on top) and the old logo (bottom part). The new logo is more colorful and resembles closely the look of Windows and the Metro UI. The part where it took us by surprise was the fact that Microsoft has not changed their logo in the last 25 years. With every press launch I attend that introduces newer netbooks, one of the very first questions I usually ask is the shelf life of Windows XP and how it could hurt Microsoft's bottomline. Microsoft has already stopped new installations of Outlook Lite months ago and has been gradually phasing it out.
