Globe has revealed that it has entered into a partnership with the National Housing Authority (NHA) and the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) to deploy KonekTayo WiFi in over 100 NHA resettlement sites nationwide. According to Globe, within the year, the KonekTayo Wifi will benefit about 40,000 housing beneficiaries. Soon, KonekTayo WiFi will also be available in other selected NHA communities nationwide. Other than WiFi services, the telco has also committed to conduct ambassadorship training for the Digital Thumbprint Program (DTP) for communities and implement the eWaste Zero Program in various NHA areas where KonekTayo is made available. "We are grateful for this partnership with the NHA and will work with them to fulfill their core mission to promote decent, liveable, and resilient homes for all Filipinos, through low-cost and reliable internet connectivity," said Ernest Cu, Globe President and CEO. Xiaomi has introduced the new Redmi 2 Enhanced which, as it name implies, is a revamped version of the original Xiaomi Redmi 2. Xiaomi gave the Redmi 2 Enhanced a boost in the storage and RAM department.
