Filipino gamers can now secure their Nintendo Switch 2 units as pre-orders have officially gone live on the Nintendo Philippines Official Store on Shopee. The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch in the Philippines on June 26, 2025, aligning with its release in other Southeast Asian markets like Singapore and Thailand . In addition to the console launch, Nintendo is set to introduce the Nintendo eShop in the Philippines, providing gamers with a convenient platform for digital game purchases and downloads . Hot on the heels of the official reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo has announced that its online services will soon be officially available in more regions across Southeast Asia, including the Philippines. These services include the Nintendo eShop and Nintendo Switch Online. Now, with Nintendo bringing these services officially to the Philippines, customers can expect prices to be listed in Philippine Pesos (PHP). Nintendo has stated that they will shut down their Nintendo eShop for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS on March 27, 2023. The Nintendo eShop Card will no longer be able to add cash to an account on the Nintendo eShop for Wii U or Nintendo 3DS as of August 29, 2022, but download vouchers can still be redeemed until March 27, 2023.
