Hot on the heels of the official reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo has announced that its online services will soon be officially available in more regions across Southeast Asia, including the Philippines. These services include the Nintendo eShop and Nintendo Switch Online. While both services have been accessible in the past, users were limited to changing their Nintendo Switch system’s region to one of the supported markets (like the US) to access them. Now, with Nintendo bringing these services officially to the Philippines, customers can expect prices to be listed in Philippine Pesos (PHP). To recap, the Nintendo Switch 2 features a larger 7.9-inch LCD screen with 1080p resolution, while the upgraded dock supports 4K resolution and up to 120fps. Under the hood, the Switch 2 is powered by a new NVIDIA custom chip and comes with 256GB of expandable storage.
