NVIDIA and Intel have announced a partnership focused on AI, data centers, and relative consumer products. The agreement sees Intel producing chips that are optimized for NVIDIA’s NVLink technology for faster data transfers. It’s slated to combine NVIDIA’s graphics power with Intel’s x86 architecture that heads the PC market. Once Intel has developed the custom data center CPUs, NVIDIA will have servers capable of running complex AI models and cloud services.
